This exquisite Louis Philippe mirror, medium in size, is a superb example of 19th-century French craftsmanship. Its gracefully contoured frame is finished in original silver leaf, which has aged beautifully over time to reveal traces of the bole undercoat, lending the piece a warm, layered patina rich in character.
The frame features a delicate, low-relief floral motif—a series of slender leaves and finely rendered blossoms that run along the perimeter.
