Ange Postecoglou’s men made a brilliant start to their current Premier League campaign as they were unbeaten in the opening ten games.

Now, however, they have lost their last three league matches consecutively and they are currently outside the top four.

Postecoglou’s first-choice defensive pair of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have missed the last three games and only Romero is set to be available from the next match following his suspension.

Van de Ven is not expected to return until January following his injury and Spurs are now prioritising signing a centre-back in the winter transfer window.

And now it has been suggested that French centre-back Todibo is a player they are looking to bring in.

The France international has been targeted by multiple top European clubs and Manchester United were heavily linked with him in the summer.

Todibo is a very important player for the Ligue 1 side and he has completed the full 90 minutes eleven times this season.

Now it remains to be seen if the north Londoners will put in a meaningful bid to convince Nice to part with Todibo in January.
