The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is a product of the Celtic academy system and has made four senior appearances for the Bhoys.

Vata has featured eight times for Celtic B in the Lowland League and has impressed by netting nine goals so far.

The talent has featured five times in the UEFA Youth League this season and has turned some heads with his performances.

It is suggested that Italian giants Inter Milan are interested in signing 18-year-old Vata, whose contract with Celtic is set to expire at the end of May 2024.

Now, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Torino have also joined the race for the signature of Vata.

Last season, Ange Postecoglou gave Vata his Celtic debut against Hibernian in December, a 4-0 win over Lee Johnson’s side.

Now it remains to be seen whether Celtic will be able to keep the Under-21 Republic of Ireland international at Celtic Park, fending off interest from the Italian clubs.
